North American rights to Little Athens were purchased by ThinkFilm, and Little Athens was released in the United States on DVD on November 21, 2006.
Multiple offers have been received by producer representative ICM for both domestic and international distribution of Little Athens, and are currently being weighed.
Following its screenings at the Toronto International Film Festival and AFI Fest, Little Athens continues to receive official invitations to film festivals around the world, including so far: the CineVegas Film Festival, the Milan International Film Festival in Milan, Italy, the Denver International Film Festival, the Newport Beach Film Festival, the Puerto Vallarta Film Festival in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, the Deep Ellum Film Festival, the Pune International Film Festival in Pune, India, the Cinequest Film Festival, the Delray Beach Film Festival, the Philadelphia International Film Festival, the Memphis International Film Festival, the Omaha Film Festival, the Carolina Film & Video Festival, the Napa Sonoma Wine Country Film Festival, the Tiburon International Film Festival, the Palm Beach International Film Festival, the Santa Cruz Film Festival, the Trenton Film Festival, the FAIF International Film Festival, the Solstice Film Festival, the Indianapolis International Film Festival, and the Rhode Island International Film Festival.
Little Athens' Michael Peña continued wielding his Midas touch at the 78th edition of the Oscars when Crash took home the Best Picture Oscar.  Peña's starring role, as Mexican locksmith Daniel, marked the second straight year that he played in the Best Picture Oscar winner, having previously been part of the Oscar winning cast of Clint Eastwood's Million Dollar Baby.
Little Athens' received an official invitation to the 2005 AFI Fest.  Run by the American Film Institute, AFI Fest is among the world’s premiere film festivals.  AFI took place in Los Angeles from Nov. 3 - Nov. 13, 2005.
Little Athens' Leonardo Nam booked a starring role in the 3rd installment of the The Fast and the Furious series - The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, to be directed by Justin Lin (Better Luck Tomorrow).
Little Athens' Jasmine Anthony has been cast as the first daughter in the upcoming drama Commander-in-Chief starring Geena Davis.  The ABC series premiered as America's top rated show on Tuesday, September 27th.
Little Athens' Jorge Garcia's hit show LOST won the Emmy for Outstanding Drama Series for its first season.
Little Athens’ co-writer/director Tom Zuber was 1 of 10 directors selected to participate in the My Next Project forum, held annually by the Toronto International Film Festival to introduce the festival’s most up-and-coming directing talent to key industry executives.
Little Athens received an official invitation to the 2005 Toronto International Film Festival, taking place Sept. 8 - Sept. 17, 2005.  For Little Athens' festival screening information click here.  Toronto is widely regarded as the most prestigious film festival in North America, rivaled in the world in importance only by the Cannes festival.  “Although Cannes is still larger, Toronto is more useful and more important...” - Roger Ebert, National Post.
Little Athens' DJ Qualls joined the cast of ABC's LOST starting with the Season II kick-off on September 22nd.
Little Athens' Shawn Hatosy stars opposite Al Pacino in the Los Angeles presentation of "Orphans," opening on September 13th.  The three character play will be work shopped at the Greenway Court for an eighteen performance run.
Little Athens' Jill Ritchie is currently shooting the science fiction thriller Southland Tales for Warner Independent Pictures opposite The Rock, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and Seann William Scott.
Little Athens' Tory Kittles is currently on location starring in Get Rich or Die Tryin'.  The movie follows the early inner-city struggles of real life rap star 50 Cent.  Multiple-Oscar nominee Jim Sheridan (In America, My Left Foot) directs the tale of a drug dealer who turns away from crime to pursue his passion, rap music.
Little Athens' Rachel Miner recently wrapped The Black Dahlia for director Brian De Palma opposite Josh Hartnett, Scarlett Johansson, and Hillary Swank.
Little Athens’ Michael Pena wrapped the lead role in the Edward James Olmos-directed HBO pic Walkout.
Little Athens' DJ Quall's recent film, the 2005 Sundance Film Festival smash-hit Hustle & Flow, was released into theaters on July 22, 2005 to widespread critical and audience acclaim.

Little Athens' Jorge Garcia finished up the first season of ABC's hit drama LOST on May 25th as "Hurley" and the remaining survivors took drastic measures to be rescued in the two-hour season finale.  LOST (Season One) will be released worldwide on DVD on September 6, 2005.

Little Athens' Shawn Hatosy stars as a young Senator John McCain in the highly anticipated A&E TV movie Faith of My Fathers, based on John McCain's acclaimed bestselling autobiography of the same name.  (Click here to view Shawn's billboard that currently overlooks Los Angeles' Sunset Strip).  Faith of My Fathers premiered on the A&E Network on Memorial Day, Monday, May 30th.

Little Athens received an official invitation to the 2005 CineVegas Film Festival, taking place in Las Vegas from June 10 - June 18, 2005.

The critically-acclaimed year of Little Athens' Michael Pena keeps going.  His latest role in Crash continues to garner widespread praise and Oscar buzz.  The film, which was picked up by Lion’s Gate Films within 24 hours of its screening at the 2004 Toronto International Film Festival, has taken in over $50million in theaters.
Little Athens' John Patrick Amedori's busy year continues with two more starring roles currently filming.  Love is the Drug (from the screenwriter of Cape Fear) has John caught up in a deadly love triangle between recent high school graduates.  Love is the Drug also stars Daryl Hannah and Mean Girls' Lizzy Caplan.  The second feature is the Walt Disney/Touchtone Pictures release Stick It which follows the trials and tribulations of a young competitive gymnastics team coached by Jeff Bridges.
The May 2005 issue of American Cinematographer (Nicole Kidman, cover) is on newsstands featuring an in depth article (pages 20-26) on the cinematography and production of Little Athens.
